Dr. Omaràn D. Lee
Regional Director, Middle Tennessee
Dr. Lee, a native of North Nashville, is a graduate of Pearl-Cohn Comprehensive High School. He received a B.A. degree in English from Fisk University, Master of Divinity from Lipscomb University, and received training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Tennessee Valley Health System Veterans Affairs. Currently Dr. Lee, an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, holds a Doctorate in Ministry concentration, Clinical Pastoral Therapy with Licensure. In his former role he served as the Director of Spiritual Care for Nashville General Hospital, Co-Chair of the Meharry Community Engagement Core Community Advisory Board, Board Chair for Vanderbilt’s Alzheimer & Memory Center, and Board Member for the Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship Community Fund (IMF). Dr. Lee, also serves as the Pastor of New Work Fellowship, (an AME plant) in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
He is a Past Master of Mt. Nebo #67, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall Affiliated. A member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.
Omaràn is married to the amazing Heather L. Lee and has three children and one grandson: Kiara, Omaràn II,Iris Jade, and Baby Kai.
