The Tennessee Department of Human Services (DHS), in collaboration with theGovernor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative (GFBCI) and the University of Tennessee’s Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (UT SWORPS), is conducting a research project to better understand how faith-based organizations support individuals and families in need across Tennessee. This study seeks to identify the types of services offered and the ways these informal networks help reduce crises, promote well-being, and foster self-sufficiency for vulnerable Tennesseans.(UTK IRB-25-09088-XM)
Leaders of houses of worship and directors of faith-based organizations that provide services to Tennesseans in need are invited to participate in this research.
The survey will take XX minutes.
Yes, participation in this study is completely voluntary and confidential. If you choose to take part, you will be asked to complete a short survey about your organization’s services and activities. Your input may help us gain a clearer picture of the support available to communities across the state.
