Gracyn Martin

Project Coordinator, Volunteer Mentorship Initiative

Gracyn Martin is a native of Spring Hill, Tennessee, whose deep-rooted compassion and hope have shaped her work as a licensed social worker serving vulnerable communities across the state. With a passionate and people-centered approach, she has worked serving and advocating for at-risk youth, survivors of human trafficking, and those impacted by the justice system. Her commitment to meaningful, lasting change is reflected in her work alongside local nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and volunteer initiatives dedicated to restoring dignity and hope.

Gracyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Belmont University, where she pursued a secondary focused study on poverty, oppression, racism, and the impact of social entrepreneurship. This academic foundation, combined with hands-on lived experience, deepened her understanding of systemic barriers and inspired her resolve to be part of transformative solutions. Gracyn joined the Governors Faith-Based and Community Initiative team in the Summer of 2025.

Gracyn serves on the Prayer and Outreach ministry teams at Belonging Co. and Thompson Station Church. Through these roles, she continues to live out her calling to cultivate hope, restoration, healing, and justice in both personal and professional spaces. Grounded in faith and driven by purpose, Gracyn remains devoted to creating environments where hope is renewed and lasting restoration is possible.
