Volunteer Mentorship Initiative
Intake Form
The Governor’s Volunteer Mentorship was created to reduce obstacles associated with incarcerated individuals reentering into society. Initially geared to target those with aspirations of obtaining a college degree, it has been expanded to include incarcerated individuals that are within two years of release.
The Mentor will serve as a life-coach to their Mentee. They will establish a relationship prior to the Mentee leaving the facility and commit to maintaining contact for twelve months following release.
