Volunteer Mentorship Initiative
Intake Form

We want to partner with you!

The Governor’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative is building a robust network of faith-based and community partners to launch Volunteer Mentorship Initiative statewide. The first step is for you to share where, how and who you are currently serving!

The Governor’s Volunteer Mentorship was created to reduce obstacles associated with incarcerated individuals reentering into society. Initially geared to target those with aspirations of obtaining a college degree, it has been expanded to include incarcerated individuals that are within two years of release.
The Mentor will serve as a life-coach to their Mentee. They will establish a relationship prior to the Mentee leaving the facility and commit to maintaining contact for twelve months following release.
